I used image based emitters on the iMac screens , ant the corresponding areas translate into alpha.
Is this a bug ?

Hi Bubaloo.

The Matte option does exactly what I don't want : I don't want to see the background in the area of this emitter.
In fact, it is like if the Matte option WAS activated , but I can still see the emitter image in the MXI.
In the PNG file, the areas of the screens are transparent (100% alpha), which does not make any sense.

If I enable Alpha for this material, I get the same Alpha, and don't even see the Emitter image.
:(

It's a known bug and fixed for the next update. Meanwhile, there's a very easy workaround. Simply, add a base BSDF to the emitters and that's all.
