looking for a suitable software, free 3d viewer or something similar
hi all
i am preparing multipart 3d models for an artist (probably polygonal). he would like to be able to view them in 3D and change the color (just plain diffuse or phong, no maps) of the different parts, so he can play with the overall look of the model until he's happy.
now he knows about 3D as much as i know about string theory - actually less. so there is no way i can talk him into using blender or a similar freeish 3d app.
the 3d viewers i know of don't let me change the color of the parts. do you know a free or not expensive software that lets him do this.
thanx in advance.
edit: to have an idea how comfortable he is with using a computer - when he want me to look at a website he tells me: ok go to h..t..t..p..colon..slash..slash..
you get the idea
