Anyways, I'm more interested in seeing Maxwell in this field if you know what I mean.
no problem, just read this advert

we've been testing it the whole day;) really impressive!
everyone should give it a try, it's the same thrill as seeing first maxwell images back in alpha/beta days;) most of the screenres images can be rendered in a minute!
and now it has bumpmapping and physical sky. such fun to work with!
hope maxwell gets one gpu engine as well. after all it's nothing more than more computing power taken from your pc;)
there's also bunkspeed hypershot (now called SHOT) coming soon. 6 months and we will all have enough gpu renderers to choose from

all best

So, does this mean one's free to use both Nvidia or ATI cards?

Boy... everyone, I mean EVERYONE is getting a GPU support.
I want Maxwell to have it too, soooo baaad
But I'll be quite satisfied just with an announcement

just saw a demo of bunkspeed at IDSA Northeast conference, the first public demo of "shot" their new GPU rendering system...interface seems to be pretty intuitive and straightforward. The shift to GPU -- complete game changer. I think it's officially released in about 6 weeks.
