Ok just parted with my hard earned dollars and bought the upgrade.

Do I need to un-install the V1 plugin, before installing the V2 if so how?

You should not have to uninstall first, but it never hurts, since SW updates can disturb the registry. To uninstall, just go to Add/Remove programs -- you should find Maxwell for SolidWorks listed there.

John - Snap

Just upgraded myself.

Thumbs up to all - it seems stable and fast ( or at least alot faster than before :D )

JD - when using the inbuilt MXM Gallery to import materials from the Maxwell site, is there a way to:

1 - increase the size of the thumb nails
2 - select more than one material and down load them in one go. I only seem to be able to make one selection , then import it and then I have to open up the MXM Gallery again - redo my search and then select another material.

At present in the MXM matrial website - the 'MY Favourites' does not seem to work - but if it was working - could we also get the sw MXM Gallery to somehow look there as well - so we can download our favourites with the lease amount of searching.

I'm sure there are other questions to come :)

Regards

Hi Jonathan -- those questions are all more related to MXED than the plugin. As the plugin uses MXED for this function, MXED would need to (a) allow bigger thumbnails, and (b) allow you to select more than one MXM, and then return the list to the plugin, rather than the single file it returns now. Similar with the question about the 'my favorites' feature -- sounds like a good idea to me, but it's not really something that the plugin can change.
