I would need to be a graphic around the knob. The only way to do that is to use a decal because there is a base material. Decals just do not render out in Maxwell.

Thanks for your suggestion. We'll see what can be done to support formZ's decals in a future version of the plugin.

You know a good work around is for Maxwell to support using a "Single" texture map on a surface that does not repeat, it just continues the edges of the map.

Maxwell always repeats a texture map no matter if FormZ says Single map. This would do just fine.
