Hi everybody,
after years of Windows, we now have new 4core 27 iMacs (with OSX 10.6.2). I start Maxwell Studio and i try to open a .3ds file, but i get this message:
"Unsupported file format"
"3DS file are not supported in 64 bits, please restart application in 32 bits before importing"

How i can do this?
And why 3DS format is not supported by 64 bit application?
Maybe is it only a problem of my particular file?

Thanks a lot.

To start an application onOSX in 32 bit mode, open the Maxwell 2.0 folder in the applications folder. Single click the application you want to open in 32 bit mode (Studio?). Choose file/get info (or apple key I). When the new window opens you will see a check box for "open in 32-bit mode".
