This is a mix of recent Sketchup models and Maxwell renders we made freelancing for other architects.

Most projects are done in a hurry, often in a few days or a week max. incl. rapid design changes.
Maxwell v2 renders a lot faster than 1.7 and setting up materials is a bit easier as well.

Maybe for some its nice to see the combo SU-Maxwell at work as it is in our architectural office 2 man office.
We are slowly getting a portion of our design work done in Modo which is an easier modeler for less rectangular shapes. I think we will be using Sketchup and Modo as our main design tools.

The work in the gallery is 90% the designs of other architects we are freelancing for.

tx,
yes, that's a nice trick with Sketchup. We sometimes make the lines even thinner in Photoshop by using the accented edsges filter.
we started doing this because many interior renderings came out rather grainy and without time to render much further we added the SU lines and got away with it. But, in my own design work I often do nothing else. It saves a lot of time. Most clients are more than happy with the slightly artistic edge those images have.

But with v2 our efforts are getting to be more like project 01.

ps. this is a thin as I can get the SU lines multiplied on the Maxwell image

the next image 20 has no lines. On the prints the difference is big. The fine lines make the grain look rather natural.
