I posted this earlier, but still no response. When I selected "render in Maxwell after export" in either SU 6 or 7 (on Snow Leopard) TWO renders are initiated simultaneously each using half the cores. In Activity monitor one is called "Sketchup" the other is called "Maxwell". The Sketchup application disappears. My workaround is just to go into studio and render from there, but some may not prefer to do this. I am curious why no one else has noticed this.

I am seeing this here too - it seems related to some low-level system changes in Snow Leopard. The code I use for starting maxwell.exe in my Cinema plugin works fine, so I'll try retrofitting that code into the SU plugin.

JDhill: THanks for looking into that..I also notice that when I just output an MXS and open it in Studio that if I then make changes and save it I get a message
that the MXS is from a previous version. I ignore the message, but don't know if it's relevant to the other problem.

Any idea when the Cinema 4D plug for 11.5 will be read on Snow Leopard? Not trying to rush you, just asking for status.

I'm not sure why you'd be getting that message, but I highly doubt it would be related. I don't recall having seen that myself, but I'll check it out.

On the Cinema front, I am actually compiling all of the final builds for testers as I type this, and these will go out the them asap...if their machines do not instantly blow up, I will probably post a link here on the forum for a community preview. If things go as expected, I am talking about early next week - there are still some unknowns though, so take that with a grain of salt for now.

I also get that previous version message when saving a mxs made in Sketchup. SU 7.1 & Maxwell v2. OSX latest updates but not Snow Leopard yet.
