I see there have been exporting issues reported already, but this is funny: I cannot see any mxs menu line at all:

I'm not quite sure what that image is. Is that supposed to be all of your export options from SU? What files are listed under your Google Sketchup 7/Exporters folder? There should be one called MaxwellExport7.dll that is installed along with the plugin.

Can you confirm that the following items are at the correct locations:

SkpToMXS.plugin: /Applications/Google Sketchup 7/SketchUp.App/Contents/PlugIns
MaxwellExport.rb: /Library/Application Support/Google SketchUp 7/SketchUp/plugins
Maxwell folder: /Library/Application Support/Google SketchUp 7/SketchUp/plugins

Thanx JDHill! I missed to place the SkpToMXS.plugin into /Applications/Google Sketchup 7/SketchUp.App/Contents/PlugIns. (Questionable why the installer didn't do that ...)

I am having this same problem, but don't see that the solution mentioned is working for me...I am running on Snow Leopard. Just installed Maxwell v.2 and the new plugins for SU. I have both SU6 and 7. For some reason MXS files dont show up as a save option for SU7, but it does for SU6. Any ideas? BTW my plugins files, etc. are identical between SU6 and SU7.

Ok. got past the problem above on SU 7..now however...when I select "render in Maxwell after export", TWO renders of the scene start, each using four cores, and SU is terminated. Any ideas, anyone? The same happens with SU 6.
