Thanks rusteberg,

hehehe, yeah the Fiat is crawling back in his corner  and indeed it's so much fun doing this, ant finally to be able to do it in Nurbs :D
whithin a few day's I'll also be ready to make some nice first test renders 8) btw, normally I would use Rhino to render, but this time I'll do it directly via the SolidWorks Plug-in, should be fun :)

Hi, my brother uses Shark on a Mac to create real swoopy shapes for chairs.
Many similarities to Solidworks.
Haven't used it myself but it looks pretty good.

Edit:
It’s a cross license (you can use it on either Mac or PC ( and on a desktop and a laptop)
There is a deal currently (on Shark FX only) for 20% off with a free upgrade to V7 in a month or so at http://www.punchcad.com

This is what he does with it: http://www.odechair.com

Edit:
And it will output .OBJ 's which I think will feed Studio.

Nicely done, Curt.
Interesting to see your patching strategy, did it come from the tutorial?
Just answering Philmartin's question about Mac and Nurbs! Will praise first next time.
Great to see this type of modelling done in Solidworks. I have rated their surface modelling tools since tackling Tigger and Pooh (Winnie) some years ago.
Can't wait to see some paint on it.

Yes it's Nurbs, I'm not sure there is any program similar to SolidWorks that works on a Mac, I know that Dassault will not port SolidWorks to Mac any time soon.
Autodesk Inventor should be coming to the Mac and its very similar to Solidworks! :) - Great modelling as always!!! 8)
Hi Tea_Bag,

Where did you heard about a mac release of autodesk inventor? It would be pretty neat!.
