I once applied for a 3D rendering-guy type of job... it was an on-line application, but it allowed me to attach your resume / portfolio.

Well, at the end of the on-line application it said:
"Everyone says they will do a great job and wont disappoint us. Do you have anything better to say?"
I felt that the question was so arrogant, that I answered the same way:

"I don't have to, my work speaks for itself"

I got a call for an interview the following day
