I am crop rendering this SSS part and I'm only getting 900/1600% CPU core usage even though I specified 16 threads:

just a note that this isn't just for the first few SLs either. It's at SL 15 and still only just above half CPU core penetration.

How about with 0 threads?

I changed it to 16 after 0 did the same thing.

If you can, please narrow down the problem. Is it happening only when doing a region render of that scene, does it use all CPU power when doing a full render? Region render in all scenes or just this one?
