it looks as if it was heavily denoised. it looks a bit too blurry and lacking detail in some areas, especially the floor.

it does. it's just that i don't like denoisers (and maybe this is not even the case). if you can avoid them that is.

Yes I used Neat... I know it´s a bit blurry, I definitly would like it to be more crisp. The thing is it looked this blurry before I started to denoise it... Any ideas why? The scene is correctly scaled and focus point is positioned next too the vase on the table...

dunno, it may depend on your aperture. try 16 or 22 instead of 8.

Something nobody asked... Why 6 bounces? Isnt light supposed to bounce endlessly here and there?

good point. just wondering though: if light did infinite bounces, wouldn't it take infinite time for a lightbulb to lit a room? if so, it wouldn't be infinite no matter what, you should have turned on the light in your room infinite time ago. but since i can even turn it off if i like to (when i feel it's time to go to sleep for example), i really doubt it can bounce for an infinite number of times.

You say you used domelight and no emitters, I assume that the room is open at the front and the top - nice technique.
