My theory is that all distribution systems end up looking like that.

Veins = Roads
Red blood cells = Cars
Nutrients = People
Cells = Houses

It seems inevitable to come up with these structures in our universe. I always have to laugh though, when city developers stamp ticky tacky suburbs on the hills and try to give them a naturally evolved look. It doesn't work.

... a note : we all know something called "Chance"... well the more we use computers, the more the "chances" will vanish... I heard that 2 submarines had a collision... (1 from USA, the other from USSR) so you wonder... what a chance ! (or bad luck) !... I mean the ocean is so vast.. and there is not so much traffic undersea.. so why...? well both were training.. a certain type of training that requires the use of some special programs.. that tells them where they should go.. how.. when.. etc.. they were'nt using the same programs.. but apparently both programs gave both submarines the same orders...

so where are we going if there is no "chance" for anything... an ant world.. pretty much..

We don't accept mistakes... and as a result, M. Chance will have no place in this world anymore... voila..

On the contrary, I believe that the next evolution of AI in computer software will require the randomness of chance in the calculations to better mimic the human decision making and problem solving abilities. If you think about it, there's no way to write a solution for every problem that arises, the computer must be able to sort through and weigh the consequences of semi-random possible solutions.

You're right Brian... so we need some more randomness in our randomness model... :D

On the contrary of the contrary.. if we ask AI to weight the consequences of everything... then you take no chances no..? Failing, that's what the computers have to learn... ahh wait... we have Microsoft Windows... pretty advanced in this area..

Anyway, I watched Plane crash on Nat. Geo sometimes, I like the research to undestand what went wrong... amazing how airplane computers work... and fail.. amazing to see how Pilots rely completly on these things.. even though sometimes they see something is obviously wrong...

"Hey Joe.. I think we're gonna hit that mountain if we don't change trajectory..."

"Nahhh.. don't worry, the auto-pilot know what he's doing..."
