In the Maya plug-in V2, when compared to Studio or Mxed two wizards are missing: metal and SSS.

Yes, they weren't done when the plug-in was built, but they'll be there in the upcoming patch.

the wizzard in the layer material

just delet all the default layer in the material attr and you ll see the wizzard/import/export/MXMetc..button appear

the MXM button will connect you with the MXM library online directly and you ll be able to browz the library as you wish and download directly the mat in your hypershad!

You don't need to delete the layers, just select the global parameters item in the material tree to see the buttons. If you import a MXM into a material which already has layers, they are deleted automatically.
