Ok, a few more. Issue with the visible polys on the tower fixed with a few cuts.
I´ve finished up the second tower, as well as the stairs.

The doorway part was almost a blank area with the fantastic references below, so i did some experimenting on my own there. Hopefully it´s not to far from the real thing. Still a few small details to add before i´ll start with the lower balconies.

incredible eye you have there to be able to produce that from a series of low res photographs found on the net! that's pure ether you're tapping into if you ask me... AWESOME!

edit: bubbaloo already said awesome... SUPER COOL instead!!!

A few more.
Basically the street level of this part of the structure. There are still a few smaller details left to model on this piece, such as lamp posts, doors and (perhaps)a few statues.
I´ll finish these up and render what i have before i start on the surrounding walls and stuff.

wow... nice level of detail - on such a large building. could you post some figure to show the proportions?

What I always wonder about - why do you have the palette open as it helps almost nothing? (don't you use the v command to open the 'flying menu'?)

Actually, i just rarely use shortcuts at all, not even keyboard ones. I often find it a lot quicker using the menus.
Probably because i work in very dim lighting and can barely see the keys... :)

I only use copy/paste in that palette.

I´ll include a character or two in the next set of images.

Not exactly an update, but just a quick comparison with the current state of the model and one of the reference images.
There´s obviously a few things in need of changing, but so far it´s a lot closer than expected.
