i hate cell phones. i hate cell phone companies even more.

nevertheless it was the cheapest way to have a phone at home to call family.

yesterday i bought a voucher for 50 bucks for my supermarket pre-paid cell. but it didn't work. so the lady at the hotline said that i bought the wrong voucher. i bought a voucher from the official phone company and not from the supermarket which uses the same numbers and their network. fuck. how could i have known.

so i go to their official shop and ask if they can reimburse me the 50 bucks. they say no.

but the guy behind the desk has the idea to check the serial number of the voucher, would give me 50 bucks if valid and sell it to an other customer later. so he calls a person to check and of course the statement is that the voucher isn't valid anymore. seems cos i've tried to fill my account yesterday. he said he cannot even check how much there's left from the voucher. the number's been accessed, so it's over.

i crumbled the piece of paper and went out.

goddamn, people flew to the moon in 1969, but those bastard sucking parasite companies don't even think about helping customers in such a situation. 50 bucks in their wallet. a call to the hotline: sorry mister, "it's been like this for years. those salesmen cannot access the information and cannot help in such a situation."

see that's exactly what one would expect from a customer service. it's about the small gestures that makes a customer feel taken seriously and not like a milked cow.
