ok 80% quality at 20% rendertime. and this is only for product renderings in studio environment, 3 area lights, one ground floor.
these product shots are so stylized even in real life photography that it's harder to see the difference from a render.
for interiors it's not true at all..waxwell is above the rest.

i think it's a nice addition to waxmell.

Me too. I can't wait to try 401. The last one I tried was 301 and it didn't go well for me.

Nice tests Max, I can see your lights props kicking in oh about COOPERS it is all Modo

Bottom line 401 it's now on par to V-ray With some work on the material system we can start comparing it to Fry, Maxwell, etc. IMO.

BIG props to Seth for pushing pushing pushing for improving the GI quality and incorporating tone mapping.

BUT bugs bugs bugs everywhere. typical Luxology/marketing (get it out now so we get paid, we deal with the rest later)

What's stopping me from reporting you to Luxology?

If you want to use Modo, either wait for the demo, or pull out yer credit card. That would much fairer on both Luxology and paying customers like myself.

You're welcome to do what you feel is the best thing to do Stinkie, but Luxology already know this because i spoke to them about it. I will buy Modo 401 when i can afford to do so. If it would make you feel better i can erase this version and wait about 3 months when Luxology releases the public demoversion.
