Hi fellow Maxwellians!

Since I will be spending a long weekend in wonderful Berlin,
and was also planning on meeting some Maxwell folk I thought it would be a good idea to just turn this into a little gathering for everyone who wants to come.

Here's usual Q's

WHERE?

In a nice cozy bar or café that is yet to be defined.
Preferably somewhere not too loud with an area for a small group to gather and chat.
Perhaps around the Area Mitte/Oranienburger Straße (?) Mashium if you come up with an idea please post it here!

If anyone knows a great place don't hesitate to say so!

WHEN?

My suggestion would be this thursday from 5 to 8 pm.
This is not fixed yet, so if you want to come but can not make it just suggest a new date between this thursday (25.june) and sunday (28. june)

WHAT?!? & WHY?!?

Sitting together over a few beer without any fancy beamers, presentations or laptops...
of course if you just CANT stand to leave your laptop at home bring it along and show some cool renders

It seems like the German Maxwell user base is situated in or atleast not too far from Berlin.
And of course because its fun!

I'm not registered on the German Maxwell Forum.
Perhaps somebody here is a regular over there?

I hope we'll be able to gather a few people.
It would be nice to make this a quarterly meeting if we find enough people! I'd be happy to see YOU there!

Es ist zwar etwas kurzfristig aber, wie gesagt, es soll eigentlich eine ganz nette Runde werden und kein hitech meeting mit Vorbereitung.

there was a nice (and i remember it being not too loud) bar-ish place, like... vis-a-vis to alte post, i don't remember it's name... but it had a lot of diverse sorts of beer....

... hear ... there was that beer-word again...

Haha... all Mashium really seems to care for is the wide selection of beer.

About the time, I'll be roaming free most of thursday, thats why I suggested meeting earlier for those lucky ones that can drop early.
However since no one else seems to be this lucky ( ) lets make it 19.00 at that place near Oranianburger Straße.

I'll check qype and ask my girl if she knows it. Any more information on that place, Mashium?

I might have to take off a bit earlier that evening (around 21.00), but I'm sure if we're atleast 3 or 4 no one will miss me

it's been quite a while, i don't really remember it's name... but i'll ask a friend with whom i had been there the last time.
we could of course choose somewhere else... the "kunsthaus tacheles" is near too for example... here and there a bit louder though...

If you are trying to get there by Subway/U-Bahn:

You can use the U6 to get to U-Bahn station Oranienburger Tor
but you can also get there on the S1 S2 and S25 getting off at S-Bahn station Oranienburger Straße which is actually just round the corner.

No matter how many we are, I'm looking forward to this. The others simply don't know what they are missing... Maxwell 3.5 perhaps?

Oh and you won't have a Problem finding me. I'm the skinny, tall guy with a Maxwell sign
