lock alpha new beta forum, sounds good to me, that way we can set our bounces to 150, haha, i does make sense though all new problems and solutions will evolve they should get a clean slate.

Yes, a fresh start for the beta process would be nice.

Also, I would like to see a fresh start in the user-gallery section... and this time there should be a hard limit of one topic per userID. In other words each user is granted a new topic only once but they get unlimited reply potential.

I disagree about limiting the number of posts; I don't think it's in keeping with the idea of using this forum as a learning tool. I think if you did that you might even cut down on the number of people who use this forum every day and I don't think anyone wants that.

I was refering to the "User Gallery" section only... as a way to keep it tidy.

Don't really understand you guys, i was on the brazil forum for a while and nothing happens overthere.
I agree that it could be messy sometime but you can't destroy such a database. We could endlessly discuss about the sense or the utility of certain discussions but what i feel is that maxwell forum prooves us that it is alive. It seems to have a really active and "bavarde" community, (bavarde stand for people who likes to speaks a lot). Let just be happy from that.
There are other places where you go on the forum once a week and pray when you log in to find a new post.

I understand what you are saying, but why deleting or moving them? Forum are so done that after a few days the beta release, i'm sure that alpha related topics won't be anymore on the first page.
