At least Ivox can spell..... what exactly is a "Kylocyle"???? :)

Gotta agree with Ivox- there is something inherently interesting about taking a "antique, historic...." radio and modeling and rendering that using modern technology and artistry. To copy that EXACT same kitschy radio to promote your new rendering program shows poor lack of judgment at best.

Of course just my 0.02 cents.

I don't know if this feature will be often used, but it's technically impressive

Call for exporter/plugin developers
Thea Render has reached a certain status in terms of stability and rendering capabilities and we would like now to call for exporter/plugin developers in order to help us expand our integrations with 3rd party software.

We are looking for developers that have some good familiarity with the plugin system of a modeling application and can maintain good communication during development. Good knowledge of C/C++/MacOSX is a plus but not necessary.

We will be very pleased to hearing from you and discuss a potential co-operation. If you are interested, send us an e-mail to contact[at]thearender.com.

best wishes

i don't see volumetric dispersion as somethings that won't be used often. i think if you're in arch viz (i'm not) it would come in very handy if you can render a skyscraper with godzilla and 50ft woman fighting in the misty background while laserbeams fire out of her nipples.
you'd probably end up using it in every render
