Nice sss Kurt ! Do share your mat .... :)

RickyX --- I stand corrected. So do you think its just pure coincidence out of the hundred and hundreds of radios on that page, .... we picked the same one to render using a 'physically correct' engine? ...at the same angle ? ...and not the blue one? Lol... I'm just goofing now... Nice find though...

Maxwell for the win.
You always have to write that Kerkythea is a free product... Although I can see Maxwell is better, you can only choose the winner when you compare them... That doesn't make Kerkythea bad... Anyone looking at KT's image will say that it is a very good image... Also, we don't know if both users know the applications well... maybe KT could give better results, even Maxwell might give better results with some tweaking...

JTB,
the comparison is not fair, I know - Zuliban is an absolute master with interiors no matter what renderer he uses.

I 've just seen an another render on their website, and I must admit that this one is really realistic and convincing. What do you think?

JTB, about Kerkythea, from your experience what is the level in terms of support?
I notice you use MoI, Michael Gibson is probably the most talented, responsive developer I have come across, are the Kerkythea's developer anywhere near to Michael's level?

You will hear only good things from me... Giannis Pantazopoulos is Greek and so am I, so I have to support him! :D

But seriously, he is a great guy as M.Gibson is.... and there is the KT Team, some experienced users that can answer almost everything and very fast! Yes, I am very happy with the support...!

Volumetric Dispersion !

I don't know if this feature will be often used, but it's technically impressive

yanada wrote::shock: 2min per frame http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?t=150342 (is rendered with Kerkythea, so the new ENGINE may be Better)

The new engine looks very appealing combining Biased & Unbiased techniques...Is like Maxwell & Vray in one app. CLEVER
IMHO, it closer to Vray than Maxwell.

biased + unbiased = biased

But anyway that animation is look nice. 2min per frame? no noise and no flicker.

Correct and that is because he is using the biased rendering mode

also note that is done with Kerkythea and not Thea :?
THEA RENDER is our next generation engine, operating in full visible spectrum and delivering highest quality
using state-of-the-art techniques and in-house R&D.
