hey my pizzas are square too.. hehe.. I really agree about hands cleaning.. many cooks and waiters go take a pee during service and don't even wash their hands ... yeeerrkkk.. :x

...and off course you know what's in it.... VERY IMPORTANT.. even more these days.. Max do you make the famous Swedish Meat Balls..? 8)

Smörgåsbord Favorite :D hehe.. what does that mean..?

Hehe, you guys go for the more square shaped pizzas :) they're easier to make i know. But it's a challenge to make the circular one's. Try it sometimes, you need a good dough to as a base or else it's difficult to get it right.

Hervé: To stay clean and to work in a clean kitchen is super important! that's one thing you never know if you go to some small local pizzaplace, they could use the pizzaoven to sleep in at night, nobody knows. Meatballs yep i do, mostly around christmas tho. Now it been quite some time since i made them :( need to do it again soon, they're soooo yummy! something which is popular from the area where i come from (far up north) is a dish called "palt" it's made from potato which is mashed and blended with flour, salt and then shaped into spheres and cooked for a while. These we eat with butter, great stuff and very simple to do. It's a old type of dish farmers and poor people used to eat which is now pretty popular here.

Now i'm off to watch the new Star Trek movie, it premieres tonight! wohoo :D i'll be back later this evening.

Unfortunately this post is not exactly pizzarelated, but i hope it's okay anyways.. :)
I got this fine Terminator T-800 model from DPJ on the Modo forum, he shared it in public yesterday for people to practice animation with using 401 or something like that.
He posted the model in this thread, all credits should go to DPJ for the model. I exported it to Maxwell Studio and dropped it in the MXM testscene as i thought it would be useful to test metals, plastic, sss and glassmaterials on.

Take a look at the 3000 pixels rendering at the bottom of my post above, that one has red eyes. :)

awesome max! Perfect model and material, but I think you should rotate the brushed texture by 90 degrees...

Kurt: Thanks, yep you're right about the rotation of the brushed scratches. I noticed it after it rendered for a while but never bothered to change it. Thought i would get away with it... hehe

While experimenting with other things i accidentaly created this.. it was not intentional but more of a lucky mistake. A foggy plastic-glass type material which renders extremly slow and with lots of noise. :D not really useful for anything but it's still kinda nice to look at. Over 10½ hours for this lowres render, that's slow.

Btw, no it's not SSS. It's a 3 layer material..

Two examplerenderings of this material.

Thanks kami, unfortuntely i never looked at the SL it reached. Knowing how slow this was to render the SL can't have been very high at all.. maybe around 6-7 something. It looks a bit flatter without coating (not dispersion) but it's nothing that can't be fixed. :)
Sorry i wrote dispersion a couple of posts up when i obviously meant coating. Doh!

Did you try replacing the coating with an extra BSDF with Roughness at zero?

I know its not the same but sometimes you get pretty decent results for reflections
