Hi there.

I'm having my last day in the studio, today.
Due to the financial crisis thing (you may have heard about it) the studio tends to reduce 3d efforts, so that's a byebye for me...

I received the news not long ago, but still tried to put s.th. like a portfolio online in the last one or two weeks.
Well, in fact it's my first website... so be gentle.. it's not about the site... it's just really to have a portfolio online...

Thx for your attention.

Sorry to hear the bad news! :( - Your portfolio is amazing so much to look at - great work! I'm sure you'll find a job in no time!

As for your website not bad at all for a first website but I'm finding it tricky moving about the pages as I'm not always sure where to click! maybe replace the 3 dots with text or add text to the 3 dots - Hopefully I'm not the only one that thinks this!

agree too...

I had no clue what the 3 dots where, I just kept clicking on them  . I was not crazy about the font either.

Maybe two versions (one in English) to reach even more possible clients could be a good idea too!

good luck on finding a new job!
the website looks great, but i have to agree with leonardo. I'm not getting the three dots. Are they even working properly?
the rest of the site is great. It's just a pity, that you always get the "line drawing" first of each project and you have to select the rendering later. I just wanted to see some good renderings and always had to click on the last image in the row ...

edit: Yeah, I found the "shortcut" which helps to skip the line drawings :)

Thx for looking.

Ok, the three dots may be too much...

I hoped that that would be enough.. like... 'hey there's someting red... why not click on it' ;)

You're right about the english... still to come... have been in hurry a little... so I upped it in german first.. but I'll do the tranlations asap...

Thx all for your good wishes. Appreciate it.

large portfolio with solid work!

i liked the dots and the simple style ..maybe the "image of the month" missing on the frontpage

navigation in the portfolio itself is a bit difficult, hotlinking the tiles of the overview image would be nice, imo. also the links on top are a bit too reduced, they don't really look like links..

also if you intend this portfolio manly for buisness purposes, you might want to add a little CV, if i would get to that page looking for people to hire, i'd like to know a little more about you besides the many images, which take a while to browse through.

The dots are ok....but I'd place a "tooltip" on roll over at least

great update.
one thing though: the "trial version" on start up looks a bit unprofessionally. if you want to use the website to get a new job, you should buy the software

Thanks kami.

Yep, that's what I'd thought about, too, yesterday in the evening...

Since it all started as a "test" while I was looking around for some template-ish thing that one could adapt here and there at some points, I had nothing against that trial logo.
You can use that thing for free, when you accept that logo flashing up.

But now, I think, this site is done - at least for its purpose: showing my recent jobs. Looking at it, also for me it feels a bit odd, seeing this trial thing...
I guess, that's what I'm gonna do right now... I believe, it was not that expensive something about $30-$40...
thanks for the heads up...

EDIT:
Done! It was $39... you gotta love the $-€-difference.. that made only 29€ :)... within 24h I'll receive the licence, so that trial thing should disappear then...
thanks again...
