Looks great. You're having way too much fun. I wish I could do that to. :(

Woohoo! Super size that order Bubba! lookin' sharp. I'm just a little worried that the jump to the broader perspective may create a conflict of interest with the more microscopic environment you've started off with. Nonetheless you seem to be transferring the same principles to your larger objects which leaves me eager to see what you tackle next!

Thanks, Dave, Onslaught and Tom!

Tom, I am kind of worried about how the desk will translate to a more zoomed view, too. But I tried to get enough detail and variation into the desk's surface so that it looks realistic at close up views... I'll soon find out.... Also, this is a little experiment to see if I can get good/realistic lighting from modelled light fixtures.

tone mapping you say???..... interesting...... i have never heard of this. what is its purpose? quick google search leaves me to believe it has something to do with hdri...

in the rendering it looked like you had introduced a subtle unevenness to the edges of those panels so they would not be perfectly linear.....
