Any features you'd like to see implemented into Maxwell?

i've had the same idea two weeks ago.

something like an independent app that just renders a benchmark picture and needs no other installation. just the .exe

would be very helpful to send around to check what specs new machines would have.

yeah,... i think more people know cinebench than know cinema 4d...

would be very helpful also on the marketing side.

frybench announced. :?

...............

As a matter of fact, some key pieces of the code have been written and profiled at assembly level and a serious effort
has been made in order to make an optimal use of the processor's pipeline and cache. Because of this, and also
because fryrender takes advantage of the parallelism of the newest CPU architectures, we came up with the idea
that maybe frybench would be interesting not only for fryrender customers or DEMO users, but for everyone,
like hardware builders, hardware reviewers, or even die-hard gamers.

A benchmark tool is a program anyone can run, without owning Maxwell. Basically a stripped down version of the engine that does just one thing, and displays the results.
For the benchwell scene, you have to download the mxs and have a Maxwell Render license.

Anyway, for me a M~W benchmark tool isn't high on the wish list. I'd rather NL spent their time on developing 2.0. Would be nice advertising though.

ohh thanks adrian to explain me... I will sleep less stupid tonight.

And I follow you , I prefere a good and strong release of Maxwell 2.0 than few little stuffs not really prioritary .

So, is this a known issue?

Thanks a lot for your response, I will update and […]

did you tried luxCore?
