It looks great.

If you really, really, really want to go for the photorealistic look. Why not put fingerprints and dirt in the reflectance 90 channel for pens and the glass?

Also, maybe some scratches on the pens and some paint/ink spots may help them give a little bit of imperfection. I have uni-ball pens at work and they get scratched very easily, and develop ink spots very fast.

The clips and the clip holder look spot on. Also your table has already scratches, it looks great.

But that is just being nit-picky, it is great work Bubbaloo.

I tried to put some imperfections, ink, and scratches on the pen, but it doesn't show up very well at that resolution. Here is a full res crop of just the pen (click):

I like your suggestion about the ref90 map, I will try it.

Boy, you sure have lot's of junk on your desk, Bubbaloo.:lol:
After you're done with it, you should start doing 'Junk around my desk' - like modeling and rendering your boss for the beging :wink:
