If you know of any other examples of a classic crescent-shaped (not round) 'Man in the Moon' using a tiki motif I'd be curious to see it. I couldn't find any others.

I've figured out based on this that the problem lies mainly with my understanding (or lack thereof) of color management in Photoshop.

When I look at the image in Photoshop it looks more like yours, until I view it with proofing set to simulate sRGB colorspace, and then it goes milky and green.

I had thought I was on top of this and assigning profiles correctly. Apparently not.
