What am I missing here, I made a room in studio, dropped in a 'chrome' object... added some planes with clip maps on them.... the chrome object inside the room doesn't see the clip maps on it's surface

I.E. I can't get any reflections of the clip maps off the chrome object's surface



Is this a known bug or am I missing something?

They should appear normally, please post an image if you can.

There should be reflections of other toys off the surface.
I've made sure the normals were not flipped, but I'll check again...

Ok the clip map planes were too far away... so you 'can't' see them, but they are in the reflection

I'm moving the clipmapped planes much much closer to the sculpture, and now I can see them

(told ya it was a noobish question)
