Is anyone using imagesynth @ for seamless tile creation and is it the recommended option ?
What is better ?

Hey, didn't you ask about the...never mind.

I don't mean to sound vain just truthful...I haven't found a program that can make a seamless image any better than what I do myself in Photoshop. That's really the long and short of it. I do however like Shadermap Pro for making the different image maps for textures.

the luxology site seems to show some quit e good results but thats usually the case with developer examples
Looks like the entire process is automated.... unfortunately no demo though

waste of time in 95 % of cases.. nothing beats handwork for textures..

Actually it works quite good, but i would recommend (quite obvious, i know, sorry) not to use it with "regular" patterns such as bricks or similar.
ANyway i have to agree with the others, since despite the fact i own it, i use it only seldom

I use it a lot. But it only works well for certain types of images.
