since we heard of anything new of our beloved Maxwell.

Don't get me wrong, I am not all pissed off and baying for blood, just curious as to whether anything is happening.

We used to get frequent visits on here from those in the know at Next Limit Towers and a regular newsletter!

Is it me, or has it gone a little quiet? Is it a calm before the storm, or am I just bored today?

I am surprised as well. They must be just like a cat hiding in the grass ready to pounce.

We get so used to upgrades and updates in our industry.

It could be worse, they could be like Autodesk and announce their new upgrade will be $895.00 and be incompatible with previous versions.

It's a while since I found a mail in my inbox as somehow the mails get lost, but otherwise I see a lot of progress.

At least the cinema plugin is constantly in development. And I'm really thankful for the ever better integration. :D

I would appreciate some news too... There used to be a newsletter but it is useless since we have no news for months...
My hope is that we will get a major upgrade... Although I am not very optimistic because of the nature of the program...
For example, we could get clouds and volumetric lights... but this will not be real, in reality we should model the moisture...
At least some serious speed and memory handling improvements, a better MXST and a better MXED would be nice.
Also, some long waiting wishes like better dielectrics or better net rendering support, etc...

Well, could we hope for RS2.0 ???
I know that many of you will hate me for this but I am willing to pay (a logical price) for this... although I think it is not the best time now, in the middle of the world crisis...

I didn't intend to start a thread of what we should be seeing etc.

I just wanted to know if Next Limit may have any news these days, or any news of any news!

Yes they have, but they don't want to share with us

I think that such a big time without news could only precede something big; for example, something that would need a lot of testing like the new RS.
I hope it's true.

I hope so but still that's not business model Ill support :( It will be fear to say They Care Less than Last about customers relation or simply they don't know how to build one.

That may be a little unfair. Over the last few years I have been pretty satisfied with the support I have had when problems have arisen.

Let's not start a war here, that wasn't my intention.
