First draft stages of a product shot of Molton Brown's soap/lotion products. This was mainly a test to see how accurate the materials are looking, the next step is to fine tune the studio and lighting, then come up with a more dynamic angle and layout.

(The middle bottle is a lotion, so it's not as transparent as the others.)

Any other suggestions? Thanks!

Hey rob,

You have a typo in the texture of the central bottle : "baume pouR les mains".

Nice Renderings.

I would setup a plane with a gradient behind the cam so that the metallic part of the to has smoother and more cosmetic looking relfections.

As you said, you will probably change up the lighting for the final cut.
I suggest adding extra emitters, right now it looks like youre using a HDRi to light everything.

Nice Caustics!

Thanks again for the input everyone.

@ dvdlsnr: Well noticed! Didn't see that one. There's also an R in Maquis that shouldn't be there. :p Fixing them up now.

@ Tea_Bag: Thanks! I've processed some other tests and lighting setups since these - they're looking cool. Should have some updates later today or tomorrow.

@ JorisMX: The gradient is a really good idea. I'll apply that next. The scene is actually lit fully by emitters and no HDRi has been used so far. Can't hurt to add some more though! I'll see what I can do.

@ Bubbaloo: Thanks. :) That's been my main focus on my last few renders, to really get that realistic look across and include some small but subtle details.

The final image has been posted in my gallery.

So, is this a known issue?
