My football club is shaking up the sporting world with an unbelievable offer to AC Milan for Kaka. £100,000,000???

Total Madness, I must admit! But if he comes to City I will love it!!!

I have suppoted my team for around 35 years and have not seen them win anything since 1976! I think I and my fellow supporters deserve this!

But please buy some defenders too!

American football blows arse. I'd much rather watch a soccer game.

Now Rugby....well, I have no clue what the hell they are doing and I think the players feel the same way.

You're American, right? Then listen... it's not called American football. It's just called football.

Watching football is like a game of chess with real live warriors battling for every inch. It's a game of strategy and toughness.

Soccer... well what can I say? Kick the ball up and down the field for hours. Fall to the ground with any physical contact whatsoever, get fouls. Final score, 0 to 1. Wow, fun.

Dammit, roped in again. 8)

And the real football is not called soccer!!! what the hell is that all about???

That stops every 2 minutes for an ad break!

Maybe each goal should be worth 30 points to get the USA's citizens excited?

Dammit, roped in again. 8)

I love this argument! :D

No,no...it's just called football in North America, in the rest of the world it's called "American football"

That's watching "American football" :P
Watching football is watching the sport played in medieval Europe that historically came from Cuju (...played in the 2nd and 3rd centuries BC in China)
...later came the "American football" :P

That's a very simple explanation...everything can be simplified like that, even "American football" :P

Football is not soccer at all, wether it called in in states.

It is "Foot" ball and not "Hand" ball.

I like foot(hand)ball and love Football.
History of Football is born in the UK a long time ago and is not boring once you play it by your own.

I now you're a bit joking Bubba :P

I visited Italy during last summer's break from school and the only channels in the place where we stayed was BBC national news, CNN national news, and the soccer championship. I must admit, I was no fan of soccer before that vacation, but after hearing about Mugabe placing his opposition under arrest before the up-and-coming election in Zimbabwe for about 8 days straight on both news channels, I learned to value soccer. :)

So, after returning, I haven't watched a single soccer game, but I'll always have fond memories of buying several Sicilian pizzas and plenty of wine for the game nights in Italy.
