Maybe all you PS guys already know this (maybe I saw it somewhere, I don't know) - I'm screwing around and just found it out. Anyway, lot's of people are rendering glass. What if you don't render the glass but use the GLASS filter in PS? Here's some quick test's I threw together.

This last one is using a texture I threw on it. Those more skilled in PS could come up great looking stuff.

interesting stuff here.

this might be useful and perfectly acceptable (in terms of realism) for many pictures.

though glass reflects a little different at glancing angles this workflow might become just a *tiny* little more complex, especially if glass planes are going in perspective, ...
warp tools, ... needed for sure. but it's pretty good and straight forward.

added in my brain's toolbox. :D
