I would like to see a christmas present from NL.... I am sure it won't be a new release but at least a newsletter.... a video with new features.... a PDF at least....

I'm sorry that's just plain ridiculous, where are the good old days poeple use to ask for some dissent presents. How can you be happy with a PDF ?
As you understand that is a hint to NL.

Here Maxwell hits bottom in terms of:
1. Development.
2. Service updates frequency.
3. How open they are about their future plans and features.
4. Large scene management and stability
5. OS X support
6. Network Rendering

I think NL hyped their product really good, and its a good product but they develop like a snail.

merry christmas

Considering the fact that NL has a way of thinking and acting especially when it comes to customer communication, my wish can become true...
No need to say that I prefer all these you wrote...

Asking for a Christmas present??? In my country this would be considered exceedingly rude!

I received an UNEXPECTED birthday present of some special materials from Next Limit and was EXTREMELY happy - it was a little thing that no company has ever done for me in the past. It was an extremely nice gesture and one that will build customer loyalty... which was already there anyway :)

So let's not ask for presents eh! :)

Not just in your country :)

I think Maxwell 2.0 would suffice.

To say that it would be nice to see something is not asking... is wishing...
Also, maybe it doesn't seem nice in english, but it is not rude , it is a (probably wrong) way to ask for some news, like christmas present...

@pipcleo : Present circumstances??? Don't understand...

Almost every software company has a newsletter and for some of them, we know what they are working on for the next release... So, I am not asking for something unusual.... After all, minor updates and patches have been asked before... I don't know if this is always possible, but I am sure that this would help several users with small problems waiting 1 year for the next release where a bug will be fixed...

So, is this a known issue?

Thanks a lot for your response, I will update and […]

did you tried luxCore?
