Hey Guys,

Dont know if any of you experienced produt designers can point me in the right direction of how this gets produced specially the meshed area!

Others are welcome to help!

I'm usually good in finding out the manufacturing process but am stumped on this one!

Thanks in advance

All I can contribute to this is that I imagine that a piece of flat woven mesh is formed in a deep drawing process to give the conical shape.

Hey Tea_Bag,

looks like you have to model a Tea Filter ... :D

if you have rhino at your hands just draw 2 phase off sinus curves, array them and rotate-copy 90°.

then draw a surface, and a deformed (same footprint) surface - then use "FlowAlongSurface" to remapp the curves.

should look something like the real thing...
