working on an image for a holiday postcard i send out every year.... i try to keep it simple, since i dont have a ton of time to spend on it.. thought maybe i'd do something with legos, after finding some instructions for some xmas pieces..

here's what i've got so far.. not loving it though. def need some help.. not thrilled with the lack of background.. but not sure what to do? thought maybe of putting it in some type of 'cottony' fake snow material, but not sure i can pull that off..

the close up is a logo with my company name on it in lieu of lego..
thanks for any help.

I think you need to work on the composition. The close up Lego just looks a bit odd... and I think you should avoid a tilted camera (you are now looking down on that great christmas tree)...

Cool, I think though that several things could be added...

Make the fireplace side tubes another 'tube' high, and make the fireplace taller.

Then put two transparrent orange tubes under each of the flame pieces, and underneath those, put those 2x1 lightblocks with the bulb stuck out the top, THEN they can light up, and flash on/off (multilight it :) )

Just kidding, but that would be what I would do if I had my almost infinite part available Lego kit hanging around :D
