It has been over a year since I worked on my fiat, sometimes you lose interest.. but I recently found it again ;-)
still a lot of detailing to do and still no bottom but nice enough to post some renders, here is the first:

I remember this and nice to see it being resumed. Did you ever use MakeHuman http://www.makehuman.org/blog/index.php to sort out a humanoid base for a driver for your Fiat? If not, the newer version works much better and has collada file export.

Thanks! yes I did try, but till now I didn't get the required result, it looked really bad... but I'll fix that :)

NicoR44: I use Cinemas' bulge deformer for tyres and have found better results come when the tyre has enough poly's to deform smoothly. I suppose a more accurate way would be to use soft body dynamics on the tyres and press them down onto a ground object but I don't find that level of obsession necessary!
