I have been asked to do a slide show with sound and possible narration of my companies projects.. lots of different hi res pics pictures etc...

I need to compile them and add music and a possible narration...

if you've got a Mac it's already there - http://www.apple.com/ilife/tutorials/#imovie; you can drop in stills, change their duration, add music and then add a voiceover very quickly! You even have the option of exporting directly to YouTube!
