It took a while, cause I was very busy the last couple of weeks.
Thanks a lot for all the nice comments, they are very appreciated.

Here some answers regarding trees, hedges...

the shadows are all produced by simple 3D tree models from VB exteriors,
most of the trees you see in the images are mapped textures.

rendertime between 48 to 96 hours with two quad-cores

lightning is done with physical sky or hdri + some maxwell database lights.

I've got one question for you! The floor rug in Image 7 (I think), I've seen others do similar, and always wondered just how they are done, 3D, diplacement, image etc? Always amazed but no idea how they are produced. Could you share you tip?

Hey have to say too the image with the sun glare through the window! I would challange anyone to pick that as not being a photo - great control of the lighting and use of glare! - Well done!
