Hi Hyltom,

The preview can be up to 200 x 200 pixels. You change the size by dragging the bottom border of the preview image - hover the mouse over there a little and you should see it change the cursor. Let me know if there's any trouble with it.

Cheers,

JD

At first it was not working but after few try, i understood that i was already at 200x200 and that my only choice was to reduce the windows. So could it be possible in the next update to render further than 200x200?

I just think about that because i have added Thomas preview scene and it looks kind of small at 200x200.

How big do you think you would need it to be? I know what you mean about Thomas' scene, but I think 200px is already quite large. You see how when you make it smaller that the area stays 200px wide; the basic layout of the left side of the material editor will always be as wide as the widest possible preview size, so I am not sure I'd want to make it bigger than 200px.

For Thomas scene, i will need at least 250x250. Going to 300x300 will even be better.

If there is a problem of layout, could it be possible to have the choice to render the preview in bigger size in a separate windows. By making a right click over the preview windows we could have the possibility to render it at different preset size in an outside windows.

hmm, I was thinking about it too the other day. Absentminded I ended up trying to enlarge the preview. The features are of course visible, but the devil is in the texture details that we have to squint to see them.

I wouldn't mind it going up to 300.

I'll think about this and see what I can come up with.

300 sounds good.
The way it's now, I always have to make a test rendering of the object in the scene to evaluate my changes. Would be great if I can avoid that step in some situations.

No, I did not really forget about this but it is more involved, technically, than one might guess, given the amount of custom-painting that the plugin does to provide its unique user interface.
