Please post here anything else (not relating to Maxwell technical matters)

Hi all! We're about to 'update' 10 workstations here and I'd like to hear your opinions about these alternatives. Intel or AMD? Expensive or 'cheap'? They are going to be used mostly for modeling (Rhino, AutoCAD) but also for rendering of course (we have 8 Maxwell licenses). Will the price difference (about 600 €) be worth it? Perhaps a dumb (?) question, but I'd still like to hear your comments as I'm no expert myself...
Thanks!

Philip

Is the $600 price difference for each computer or for the whole 10 ?
If it is a $600 x 10 difference I would go for the AMD. I think either way is a win-win situation!

Hi Bubba

That's 600 £ per computer - it's a 30 % difference... but I think I heard somebody mention that the Intel alternative would be 30 % faster, so you'd get what you pay for... 8)
