A few birds are actually not a bad idea. I´ll squeeze in a few in the final render. :)

Well, i´ve finished up the dreadful statues and got the texture the way i wanted, so it´s time for the final set of images in this wip.
All that remains now is some Photoshop work, to dirten up the building slightly and make a few color corrections. And of course make a scene out of it. :)

A big thank you to all you guys who have been following this thread, and a few special thanks to,
Tom, for suggesting instancing for the project, something i´ve never used previously.
Kurt and Max, who supplied me with some great reference images. The closeup on the main dome as well as the areal shot were key references and saved me a ton of guessing work.

I think you can add around 1.5 million polys to the last numbers for the final scene, which would make it around 4 million or 20 million if we use the uneditable/instance/symmetry objects.

Scene completed and uploaded to the gallery section.

Thanks again guys. :)

Unfortunatly not. It´s not a bad model at all, but he left out a lot of detail. :)

So far i don´t have any models out for sale, although perhaps i should do something about it. As it looks now, i´ll probably be out of work within the next few months, and some extra income wouldn´t hurt.

Re-modeling this cathedral for practical use with less polys and UV´s using the highpoly version as reference shouldn´t be a problem.
And i would probably charge a lot less for it as well.

Not sure what the market look like for buildings such as these though.
