Never happened to me using previous versions but very common in 1.7.

Happens in various scenes. Might be due to SSS materials - not sure.

any news on this issue ? I am getting black dots all over the place. I heard this is caused if you are running out of memory........but I sure aint running out of memory...

Well, I guess im in the wrong forum ?? - I am using Maxwell Render (1.7.1) & not Studio. I am currently trying to see what is going on. I am trying AGS glass, dialectric glass, turning off all glass, turning off MXI background & HDRI lighting, collapsing all emitters to minimal meshes, .....so far nothing seems to work

Could you please do a Pack & Go of the scene and send it to me privately? There were some black dots issues with SSS in 1.7 which should be fixed in 1.7.1 but apparently it's still happening in some cases. A scene would help a lot to track it down.
