Actually, you got an interesting idea going on there (you are just using gravity; no springs at all) ! ... So, I used your idea as basis to simplify it a bit ... Still using a stick as a ramp, but with no counter-weights (the stick alone can get balance):

ok, I feel silly ... I am checking their forum now, and they already have a "simple solutions" thread. Some of their designs are so simple, that beat mine by far :oops: (and a couple of them are nearly identical; it is like they've been there, done that ... before I was born :) ... makes me feel like such a rookie :? )
