So I have ran into a problem, my boss wants me to use a certain Formica woodgrain laminate, which has only a small image sample. and best of all it is a burl.

This material has to cover a panel that is 40" tall x 60" wide.
how can i go about manipulating this image to avoid a bad looking tiled/mirrored image.

Max,
seamless would help alot, higher res would be just as nice.

so really anything better would be great!!!!

Dan, i checked my textures archive and i had no such highres texture but once i get PixPlant installed i'll try and see if i can create a seamless texture for you with it. Maybe someone else will get it done before me.

Now i got PixPlant installed and attempted at creating a seamless texture with it. You can download the results below.. but keep in mind, this type of texture will cause repeating patterns in it no matter what, it's not easy to avoid.

I might be able to help you out! Need to check my wood libary I've seen something similar and sort of seamless from what I can remember! Will have a quick look!
