All what's being described with XStream is what can be done now by compositing Vue XStream and Maxwell renders - probabably a little more time consuming than having an all in one solution which is unlikely to develop any time soon!

i am not talking of compositing only...you wouldn't get shadows from Vue elements onto Maxwell ones, nor mutual reflections.
