Ive noticed some segmenting on the bowed section on the first picture as well.

Yes, more brightness would help. Also experiment with more diverse environments. The lighting has something of a skydome, even though the reflection suggest otherwise.

Well..i will bear everything mind for my next project....im not going to make any changes to this as its a "finished works" gallery and i dont want Nicole to beat me up!!!!!

I know there really wasnt much to comment on, but your criticisms are appreciated.

This brighter image is a thousand times better. I like the checkerboard stone and the surface image. nice render.
