Thank you very much for the suggestions. For me, I hate Photoshop work. I will do anything to avoid it. I don't like compositing a sky because the lighting never matches (how could it?) I've seen some very interesting tests from some here on the subject of clouds with Maxwell SSS which is exciting!
About the reflections in the glass, I usually put an mxi emitting plane in the scene with a tree line for good reflections, but you know how deadlines are... At 1 a.m. on Sunday night I had to say "Enough!"

Here's a little scene I set up for my clock model (the little round thing to the left) :

Thanks, Brett! You can "feel" the pillows?
I tried to smooth them with turbosmooth, but it didn't help much. I think the hard shadow on the white pillow might be the result of that pesky sunlight/normal map/smoothing bug.

Sure can - man of many talents ;)

That shadow/smoothing issue can be a pain.

Nice work in any case.

Good mood and image... like other say, maybe work on more comfortable and soft pillows but it's always a difficult work part.

very nice, Buballoo.
The sharp/unpleasant shadow on the white pillow (brick) is happening in Maxwell when you apply bump to a curved surface. Try to use a subtle displacement layer instead of the bump and it will probably disappear.

Here's a rerender of a scorpion model I made a while back. I added a displaced ground beneath him. I'm thinking of adding a plant in there too to give it some color.
