Hi everybody.
We have to get a new 3D station, for Maya + Maxwell.
Short List :
- APPLE MACPRO Dual Xeon 2.8Ghz, 16Go ram, Nvidia Quadro FX 5600
- DELL T7400 Dual Xeon 2.8Ghz 16Go ram, Nvidia Quadro FX 5600
- HP xw8600 Dual Xeon 2.8Ghz 16Go ram, Nvidia Quadro FX 5600
- AGHIRE Dual Xeon 2.8Ghz, 16Go ram, Nvidia Quadro FX 5600
used with 2x24" EIZO CG241W ColorEdge screens

And we want/need :
- Speed/Performance ++++
- Silence +++
- Stability +++
- Desing ++
We have to produce huge resolution files (more than 8000 x 5000 px)
Is 16Go ram enough ?

get a macpro dual quad (octo) with 16GB.
You can run both XP and Mac OSX, it's the fastest, reliable, good loking PC out there.
And it doesn't cost as much, compared to other "brands".
